had a meal for 27 people. food was delicious and all came out together. all the staff worked really hard

  Food is amazing especially the homemade cheese and leek pie ?. Friendly and good for the kids big area for them to play out .

  Absolutely fantastic service all round. Booked in for a wake and the team were very helpful and accommodating beforehand. The staff were great on the day and the food/buffet was out of this world. Will always look to book here first for any functions

  Attended the Sticky Wicket to celebrate my mum’s birthday. A great venue with excellent service by all staff, who were very attentive. Food was of a high standard and delicious. Wonderful presentation of all dishes. One waiter overheard we were celebrating a birthday and brought a candle for my mum and wished her happy birthday. Kept it discrete which please my mum. I would highly recommend the restaurant due to the relaxed atmosphere and friendly ambience.

  The food today was absolutely excellent. Salt and pepper chicken for starter and pate wrapped in Parma ham - absolutely delicious. My partner had the gammon and egg which he said was gorgeous and I had the turkey dinner which had everything you wanted and more. I did struggle to finish the dinner as it was quite a large portion and I’d already had a starter but the food quality was great. Can’t wait to eat here again, much better than your usual pub food.

We happened upon the Sticky Wicket by chance to watch a soccer match and decided to stay for dinner. They did a fantastic job serving 15 kids and 20 adults. The food was delicious and the service was spot on. Well done and thanks for having us.

We've been meaning to try this place for a while now and we were not disappointed. The food and wine were first class with the Creme Brulee and Coconut Rice Pudding to die for. The service by Katrina was second to none and the atmosphere was extremely relaxed. We will be returning here very soon.

Absolutely lovely meal last night. The food was amazing, good atmosphere, nice beer and great service. Can’t fault it and we’ll be back soon. I’d heartily recommend the BBQ Pig Board!!!!
